●August 10, 2022 Hiroki kawakami, 2nd year master’s student, was adopted for 「Program for Developing and Supporting the Next-Generation of Innovative Researchers at Hiroshima University」.

●November 2, 2021 Professor Toru Inoue, Director of the Center, was elected as a Fellow of the Mineralogical Society of America.
●November 2, 2021 Professor Toru Inoue, Director of the Center, was elected as a recipient of the Hiroshima University President’s Award.
●October 11, 2021 Ikuo Okada (D3) received the Academic Encouragement Award from the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Hiroshima University in the 3rd year of Reiwa.
●September 17, 2021 Dyuti Prakash SARKAR received the Student Paper Award at the Japan Association for Mineralogical Sciences (The target paper is the paper published by SARKAR at the time of D3 at Hiroshima University).
FY2020
●November 25, 2020 Ikuo Okada (D2) won the Excellent Poster Presentation Award at the Isotope Ratio Subcommittee of the Mass Spectrometry Society of Japan.
● November 25, 2020 Miho Shigenaka (B4) received the Excellent Oral Presentation Award at the Isotope Ratio Subcommittee of the Mass Spectrometry Society of Japan.
●At the awards ceremony of the Geochemical Society of Japan (Web Society) held on September 15, 2020, Director Takeshi Ishikawa of the Kochi Core Research Institute received the Geochemical Society of Japan Award. After that, an “Award Lecture” was held entitled “Geochemical Research on Fluid and Material Cycle Centered on the Subduction Zone”.
●Yuya Akamatsu (D1) won the Hard Rock Drilling Science Young Encouragement Award
●Yoshikawa et al. (2019) was selected among the top 10% most downloaded papers (2018-2019) in Island Arc.
●Professor Hikaru Yabuta won the RDT Special Award (Sustainable University Town Concept Project Driven by Academic Enterprise: “Innovative and Sharp Ideas” Contest)
